YU has a great directory that summarizes key information about the yeshivas, you can check it out below. We have a list here as well for each yeshivas website nevertheless.
For information events/sessions and financial aid inquiries, check out this website to see when the place you're interested in having a session or to look at scholarships. Your high school may offer a scholarship as well.
Yeshiva List:
Gap-Year Directory
Below we've got a list of Yeshivas. If there's one we missed, please let us know.
Your best chance at finding the right place for you is to speak with alumni from the programs you're interested in, particularly someone who knows you or knows you at least somewhat well.
For Yeshivas, if you want to learn Gemara nonstop and/or go to a place where a lot of the guys make Aliyah afterward- obviously some places will be better suited for you than others. Don't go around trying to get the "buzz" on each place- those are just rumors. Hear it from people who went there, ask the teacher leading Gap-Year guidance at your high school, and go hear the Yeshiva/program representative's presentation.
Some information is important from these websites, but to be totally honest, you have to talk with alumni or a representative to get a sense for the place. No one is blown away by a yeshiva website that says they're a pro-Israel Yeshiva that learns Gemara and goes on trips- that's almost every place. We won't even write brief descriptions on the Yeshivot because it won't clue you into anything significant at all. The main thing that differentiates a place is its culture and what kind of guys go there.
